Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kendrick Lamar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zaraki Kenpachi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zaraki Kenpachi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kendrick Lamar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Zaraki Kenpachi!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamar avoids the head kick by Kenpachi.
Lamar misses with a low kick as Kenpachi jumps back.

Kenpachi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Kenpachi decides to stand back up.

Lamar shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
A nice elbow there by Lamar.
Lamar really is a fat lump.
Lamar wants to take his opponent's back but Kenpachi doesn't allow it.
Lamar is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Kenpachi can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Lamar goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Kenpachi turns into him and now he's in Lamar's guard.
Lamar has a closed guard, preventing Kenpachi from standing up.

Lamar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kenpachi is one step ahead there.

Lamar makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lamar.

Lamar is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Lamar is working an open guard so Kenpachi takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Kenpachi doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kenpachi clobbers Lamar with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Lamar shoots in for a takedown but Kenpachi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kenpachi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kenpachi throws a leg kick but Lamar sees it coming and moves out of range.
Lamar throws a shot from downtown. Kenpachi moves away and avoids it.
Lamar tries for a takedown but Kenpachi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kenpachi's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lamar under the eye.
Lamar tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kenpachi was well out of range. Poor timing from Lamar.
A combination from Kenpachi does no damage.
Lamar looks to score with a jab to the body but Kenpachi is just out of range.
Kenpachi dives in and grabs Lamar's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lamar pushes down on Kenpachi's head and hops out.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lamar lands a slapping body shot.
Kendrick Lamar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kenpachi tries to clinch but Lamar moves out of range.
Kenpachi misses with a few strikes there.
Lamar shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kenpachi as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kendrick Lamar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lamar swings for the body but Kenpachi moves out of range.
Lamar looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Kenpachi counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kenpachi.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kenpachi's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Lamar is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Kenpachi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Kenpachi stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Lamar looks to score with a jab to the body but Kenpachi is just out of range.

Lamar throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kenpachi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lamar is in Kenpachi's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lamar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kenpachi is one step ahead there.

Lamar has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kenpachi is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lamar.
Lamar tries to bench press Kenpachi off him but Kenpachi keeps the position.

Lamar gets back to half guard.
Kenpachi performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Lamar wants to get back to full guard.
Kenpachi is pressing down on Lamar's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lamar is holding on for now.

Kenpachi is trying to control the action in half guard but Lamar is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Zaraki Kenpachi.
Lamar missing with a left hand there. Kenpachi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kenpachi fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lamar throws a low kick but Kenpachi moves out of range easily.
Lamar throws a predictable looking body shot

and Kenpachi counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lamar's guard now.

Kenpachi wants to stand and escape but instead Lamar has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lamar is chipping away with strikes.

Zaraki Kenpachi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kenpachi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
