The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Disgracie misses with a right hand
and Scopiano cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Scopiano pushes Disgracie up against the cage in a clinch.

Scopiano gets control of Disgracie's arms and successfully pulls guard. Scopiano will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Scopiano is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Disgracie stands up from Scopiano's guard - Disgracie perhaps looking for a knockout.
Scopiano could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

enabling Scopiano to counter with a crisp jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Disgracie fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Disgracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Scopiano pinned against the cage. Scopiano gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Donatello Scopiano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rickson Disgracie.
Scopiano lands with a slapping head kick.

and Scopiano counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Scopiano throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Disgracie's head.
Disgracie is trying desperately to land a takedown but Scopiano is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Disgracie.

and Scopiano counters with a stiff right hand.
Scopiano throws a head kick that half lands.

and Scopiano counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Disgracie is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Disgracie is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Scopiano is trying to escape and Disgracie transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Scopiano is forced to tap! Nice work there by Disgracie! Very nice indeed!
