Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mark Pineda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robertson has chosen The Proclaimers - 500 Miles as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mark Pineda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Trevor Robertson!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson lands a leg kick that knocks Pineda off balance momentarily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pineda is defended easily by Robertson.
Pineda ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Robertson moves away.

Robertson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Robertson landing a few strikes.
Robertson sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Pineda is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Pineda manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Robertson slows the pace down in half guard.
Robertson looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Robertson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Robertson thows a huge punch but Pineda dodges it nicely.

Robertson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pineda defends it well.
Pineda wants to improve his position but Robertson is controlling well.

The fighters are battling for position here. Pineda manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Pineda has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Robertson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pineda lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Robertson!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pineda goes for an armbar but Robertson turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Robertson.

Pineda throws his legs up looking for a submission but Robertson uses it to pass to side control.
Robertson throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Pineda tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Robertson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Pineda regains full guard. Nicely done.

Pineda regains half guard there - taking advantage of Robertson's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pineda is looking to control Robertson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Pineda avoid being mounted?

Pineda had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Robertson defends it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Trevor Robertson will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Pineda swings for the body but Robertson moves out of range.
Robertson throws a shot from downtown. Pineda moves away and avoids it.
Pineda scores with a jab to the body.
Robertson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Pineda counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Pineda scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


It looks like Trevor Robertson has been cut.

Pineda throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Robertson.
Robertson walks into a left hand.


Robertson is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pineda dodges the punch combination from Robertson.
Robertson misses with a series of wild punches.
Pineda fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Robertson manages to avoid it.

Oooooh!!! Pineda has knocked Robertson down with a huge combo! Pineda steps away and waves a wobbly Robertson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Robertson is still on wobbly legs! Can Pineda finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Robertson drops his hands momentarily and Pineda takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Pineda cracks Robertson on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Robertson falls backwards against the cage. Pineda follows up with more strikes that drop Robertson to his knees. Pineda keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Robertson! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Pineda!
Mark Pineda bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
