And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larty looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kerr is fending him off so far but Larty persists. Nope, Kerr circles away and we're back to standing.
Larty tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kerr swivels and escapes.
Larty shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kerr but Kerr pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Larty gets tackled into the cage by Kerr. Kerr maintains the clinch.

Kerr escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kerr drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kerr wants to control from the top but Larty keeps moving.

Let's hope that Kerr has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kerr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kerr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Larty doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Larty manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Larty decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Kerr leaves Larty with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Well Kerr has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
