Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Emerson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Pesanioco Noguerio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Pesanioco Noguerio!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva stuffs the takedown attempt from Noguerio. Noguerio gets slowly back to his feet.
Silva is looking to clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Noguerio. No joy for Silva on that attempt.
Silva tries to clinch up.

Silva drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Noguerio is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Noguerio avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Silva.
Noguerio wants to get back to his feet.
Noguerio is looking to reverse the position.
You can see the frustration on Noguerio's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva lands a few punches from side control.

Silva stands up.

Silva feints and as Noguerio raises his hands in defense, Silva changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Silva pushes down on Noguerio's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Silva perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Noguerio looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Silva pushes past his half guard into mount!
Silva prevents Noguerio from getting the reversal.

Silva stands up from mount. Strange move.

Noguerio tries to sprawl but Silva drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Silva decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Noguerio manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Noguerio swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Silva closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Noguerio quickly recovers to half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Silva has closed the distance and engaged Noguerio in a clinch.

Silva ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Silva no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Noguerio is posturing up here but Silva has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Noguerio tries to roll out but it's too tight and Noguerio has to tap! Slick submission there by Silva!
