Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jaime Encanador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Evan Tanner was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanner throws a right and a left that Encanador avoids nicely.
Tanner misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Encanador rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tanner moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tanner lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Encanador misses with a few strikes there.

Encanador fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Encanador fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tanner, pushing him back against the cage.

Encanador breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tanner throws a series of punches but Encanador moves out of range.
Tanner fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Encanador clinches with his opponent.
Encanador lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Encanador has Tanner pressed against the cage, preventing Tanner from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Tanner has had enough of the clinch but Encanador keeps him there for the moment.
Encanador pushes Tanner back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tanner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tanner lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Encanador circles away quickly and effectively.

Encanador shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Encanador showed some decent athleticism there.
Tanner looks gassed!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Tanner is looking to escape.

Encanador stands up and beckons Tanner to join him on the feet.
Tanner slips a jab and a cross from Encanador.

Encanador shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Tanner wants to stand but Encanador is controlling the position.

Encanador stands up and waves to Tanner to follow him.

Oooooh!!! Encanador has knocked Tanner down with a huge combo! Encanador steps away and waves a wobbly Tanner back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Tanner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Encanador shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Tanner is rocked!

Encanador postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Tanner to stand up.
Tanner is still on wobbly legs! Can Encanador finish him?
Encanador connects with a nice cross there... Tanner is looking wobbly and Encanador recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Tanner to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Encanador jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
