Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Natawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Randleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chuck Natawa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevin Randleman!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Natawa drives through with a takedown into Randleman's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We're going to have a standup here because Chuck Natawa wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Randleman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Randleman showed some decent athleticism there.

Randleman seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Randleman decides to stand up.

Natawa gets caught flat footed, as Randleman shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Natawa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Randleman is working away from the top position though.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Natawa tries to clinch up but Randleman circles away and keeps his distance.

Randleman is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Natawa's half guard.

Randleman is taking a breather. Natawa says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kevin Randleman hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Natawa shoots in for a double leg but Randleman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Natawa gets tackled into the cage by Randleman. Randleman maintains the clinch.
Natawa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Randleman is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Natawa can't fight it off and eventually Randleman manages to take the fight to the floor. Natawa looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Randleman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Natawa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Natawa closes the distance and clinches up with Randleman, looking for a takedown. Natawa pushes Randleman against the cage but Randleman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Natawa throws a solid leg kick but Randleman takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Natawa.

Randleman shoots for a takedown but Natawa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Kevin Randleman is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
