Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kulku Koira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Jalkalukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jalkalukko has chosen Jordan Sparks ft. Chris Brown - No Air as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kulku Koira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jesse Jalkalukko!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Koira gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jalkalukko to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Jalkalukko trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jalkalukko won't allow Koira to sweep him here.
Jalkalukko trying to control the position from guard on top but Koira is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Jalkalukko lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Jalkalukko is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Koira is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Jalkalukko trying to control but Koira is working from the bottom.
Jalkalukko is pushing down on Koira's leg trying to pass to half guard. Koira is fighting to maintain full guard but Jalkalukko has managed to sneak the leg through.

Koira tries to roll over but Jalkalukko keeps him under control.

Koira throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Jalkalukko escapes and throws Koira's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Koira is not content to let Jalkalukko control the position.
Koira can't do much from the bottom here.

Jalkalukko is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Koira is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Jalkalukko tries to move to mount but Koira blocks the move with his legs.
Jalkalukko wants to control but Koira is keeping him busy.

Jalkalukko scoring with punches and elbows.
Koira gets back to half guard.
Jalkalukko is just content to waste time from the top position. Koira takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Koira keeping moving, preventing Jalkalukko from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jesse Jalkalukko dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Jalkalukko shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jalkalukko showed some decent athleticism there.

Koira looking for submissions off his back.
Jalkalukko seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Koira does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Jalkalukko taking a breather but there's no such thing in a fight! Koira has locked on to a kimura from the bottom - he uses it to sweep and is now looking to finish from the top position! He's got it! Jalkalukko has tapped! Great work by Koira! Lay and pray doesn't pay, kids! Just remember, you heard it here first.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Kulku Koira!
Kulku Koira gave a mention to Condemned in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
