The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels fails to land the takedown.
Hand blocks a head kick by Daniels.
Hand moves in looking to clinch but Daniels pushes him off.
Hand really is a fat lump.
Hand takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Hand misses with a looping right.
Hand looks to clinch

and Daniels decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hand's guard.

Daniels stands and steps away. Hand gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Hand shoots in and drives through. Daniels sprawls well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Some wild striking there from Daniels.
Hand throws a quick inside leg kick.
Hand misses with an attempted mid kick.

Daniels has Hand up against the cage in a clinch.
Daniels is trying to push Hand away but Hand has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Daniels's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Daniels throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hand tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Daniels is in Hand's guard.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Daniels's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Hand is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hand wants to stand and escape but Daniels is having none of it.
Hand might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Daniels has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Daniels pushes down on Hand's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Hand is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Daniels pulls his head out easily.
Well, if Daniels is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Hand is breathing heavily.
Hand tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Daniels has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hand really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Hand has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Can Hand hold on?! Daniels is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daniels is working the ground and pound. Can Hand escape?
Daniels punches Hand on the ear.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hand tries to escape the position.

Daniels has managed to slip his arm under Hand's chin. This could be all over... yep, Hand is tapping out! Submission win for Daniels.
