Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Abdual Jemall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ian Phillips!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phillips tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jemall was well out of range. Poor timing from Phillips.
Phillips throws a lazy right hand but Jemall sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Phillips motions for Jemall to come forward. Phillips throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Phillips takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Jemall throws a hook to the side of Phillips's head but Phillips sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A decent looking cross lands there for Phillips.
Jemall takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Jemall avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Jemall displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Phillips throws out the jab.
Jemall scores with a head kick.

It looks like Ian Phillips has been cut.
Phillips misses with a wild body shot.
Phillips moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A clash of legs there as Jemall blocks the low kick.
Jemall misses with a low kick as Phillips jumps back.
Jemall shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Phillips misses with a straight right.
Phillips swats away the attempt to clinch by Jemall.
Jemall scores with a jab to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Phillips checks a low kick from Jemall.
Phillips connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Nice uppercut lands for Phillips. That snapped Jemall's head back.
Phillips looks to land a combination. Jemall sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Jemall is rocked!
Jemall has his takedown stuffed

and Phillips counters with a crisp one two that drops Jemall! Phillips thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Jemall to his feet! Jemall is in big trouble!
Oh Jemall is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Phillips throws a series of punches but Jemall avoids them all with ease.
Jemall's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Phillips connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jemall scrambles back to his feet.
Phillips cracks Jemall with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Jemall tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Phillips pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Jemall is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ian Phillips!
Ian Phillips really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that STEEL PENN'S 160 OF STEEL $50 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
