Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josu Ander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fox has chosen Cant Be Touched by Roy Jones Jr. as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ander has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Fox stuffs the takedown attempt from Ander. Ander gets slowly back to his feet.
Fox blocks a jab.
Ander misses the shot to the body.
Ander fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Josu Ander will probably get the nod.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ander is landing with some decent strikes but Fox is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Ander breaks from Fox's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Fox really wants to buck Ander off and get back to his feet.

Ander moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Fox has worked his arm free - good work by Fox!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ander has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Fox has passed into side control.
Ander tries to improve position but can't.
Ander throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.

Ander is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Fox blocks the strikes from Ander.

Fox trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ander's guard.
Fox must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Ander escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fox gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Ander tries to land a sweep but no joy.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ander thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Brian Fox has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ander is on top in guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ander, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
