The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Almighty closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Almighty wants to control but Katsouranis is keeping him busy.
Katsouranis is trying to get back to his feet.
Katsouranis wants to get back to his feet but Almighty is dominant here and he's now got Katsouranis's back!

Almighty has hold of Katsouranis's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Katsouranis manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Almighty is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Katsouranis is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Katsouranis flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Almighty anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Katsouranis and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Almighty slips an arm under Katsouranis chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Almighty has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Almighty is squeezing on Katsouranis like an anaconda would it's prey. Katsouranis fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
