Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wes Welker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hoof Face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Face throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Face takes a swing at Welker's ribcage but misses.
Face shoots for a double leg takedown but Welker sprawls well. He's pushed Face's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Face closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The strikes coming from Face are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Face stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Welker swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Welker is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Face knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Face for a finish.
Welker looking to break Face's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Face remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Welker will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
