The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sin tries to bum rush Pilgrim with a series of wild strikes but Pilgrim uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pilgrim ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Sin on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Sin throws a shot from downtown. Pilgrim moves away and avoids it.
Sin scores with a shot to the body.
Sin takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Pilgrim misses with a body kick.
Pilgrim feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Pilgrim works the jab nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pilgrim throws a big shot that misses.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sin darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Billy Pilgrim has been cut.
Sin lands with a cross.
Good leg kick by Sin there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Pilgrim moves out of range of the leg kick from Sin.
Pilgrim throws a hook but Sin blocks it.
Sin fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Sin misses with a hook.
Sin lands with a right hand.
Sin thumps Pilgrim with a low kick.
Sin throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sin. Pilgrim does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sin throws a hook but Pilgrim blocks it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pilgrim keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Sin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Pilgrim avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Sin tries to score with a low kick but Pilgrim moves his leg out of the way.
Pilgrim throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Sin counters with a stiff right hand.
Sin lunges at Pilgrim with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pilgrim's hand.
Pilgrim throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Pilgrim shoots in and bounces Sin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Pilgrim throws a big elbow that misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sin keeping moving, preventing Pilgrim from controlling successfully.
Sin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pilgrim manages to get himself to full guard.
Sin content to stall in guard here.
Pilgrim has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tim Sin has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Pilgrim throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Pilgrim throws a body kick that misses.
Pilgrim throws an overhand right that lands on Sin's shoulder, as Sin tries to avoid the shot.
Pilgrim throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Sin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A looping hook to the body misses from Sin. Pilgrim does a little dance to reset his feet.

Pilgrim with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sin to score with a decent uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Pilgrim tries to move into range but Sin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Sin thumps Pilgrim with a low kick.
Pilgrim lands a jab to the head.
Pilgrim misses with a straight left.
Sin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pilgrim throws out the jab.
Sin on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Pilgrim connects with a body shot that sends Sin's belly button to the back.
A chopping leg kick lands by Sin.
Pilgrim scores with a punch to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sin lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Pilgrim has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Pilgrim and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Sin lands a nice hook to Pilgrim's body. Pilgrim takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Sin works the jab nicely.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Pilgrim checks a leg kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pilgrim, as that shot connected.
Sin throws a shot to the body.
Sin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pilgrim was well out of range. Poor timing from Sin.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sin fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pilgrim has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Pilgrim is breathing heavily.
Pilgrim looks to throw the jab but Sin is out of range.

Sin sends Pilgrim crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Sin is motioning to the referee to let Pilgrim up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Pilgrim is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Pilgrim is still on wobbly legs! Can Sin finish him?
Pilgrim moves out of range as Sin strikes.
Sin is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Pilgrim flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Pilgrim is out cold! Sin holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
