Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kent Wire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hazel Johnston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wire comes to the cage accompanied by Bust Back. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kent Wire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hazel Johnston!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wire avoids the head kick by Johnston.
Wire throws a right and a left that Johnston avoids nicely.
Wire misses with a few strikes there.
Wire throws a nice looking combination but Johnston bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wire looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Johnston!
Wire is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Johnston is surviving well by controlling Wire's body position as best he can.
Johnston can't escape the position.
Wire looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Johnston is desperately trying to improve his position but Wire has a good base and remains in mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wire tries to control but Johnston wriggling away.
Johnston gets back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnston tries to get to full guard but Wire has control of the leg.
Johnston works his way to full guard. Good work.
Johnston managing to control the position.
Johnston has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wire can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Wire wants to pass the guard but Johnston is keeping the position.
Wire is looking to stand up but Johnston won't let him.
Johnston wants to sweep here but Wire controlling him for the moment.
Wire wants to pass the guard but Johnston is keeping the position.
Wire stands up and waves to Johnston to follow him.

Johnston wants to clinch up but Wire keeps it at a distance.
Johnston is looking to clinch.
Wire blocks a head kick by Johnston.
No joy there for Wire, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Johnston moves into range and clinches up with Wire.
Wire escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wire shoots in but Johnston avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Wire is breathing heavily.
Johnston tries to close the distance and clinch but Wire swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wire swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Johnston misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wire closes this distance looking for a takedown but Johnston circles away.
Wire keeps the fight on the outside.
Johnston blocks the body kick.
Wire misses with an attempted mid kick.
Johnston moves into the clinch successfully.
Wire wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kent Wire. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wire tries to break the clinch but Johnston is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Johnston has hold of one of Wire's legs. Wire is fighting the takedown attempt but Johnston gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Wire has his foot on Johnston's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Johnston works his way back into a safe position though.
Johnston thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Wire has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Johnston off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Wire fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Wire fails to land with a series of punches.
Wire throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Johnston stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Wire follows into mount!
Johnston is rocked!
It looks like Hazel Johnston has been cut.
Johnston has left one of his arms exposed and Wire doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Johnston screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Kent Wire!
