PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Jonsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ghengis Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jonsson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kickstart My Heart. Ghengis Khan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonsson fails with the takedown.

Khan rushes Jonsson and presses him up against the cage.
Jonsson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Khan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Jonsson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Khan gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Magnus Jonsson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Khan gets control of Jonsson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Khan will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Jonsson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Khan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Khan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jonsson stands and throws Khan's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Khan can't do much from the bottom here.
Jonsson works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Khan wants to get back to his feet.

Khan is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Jonsson's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Jonsson! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Khan has tapped! This one is allllll over!
