Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Maher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Noble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that David Maher has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily David Maher seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maher misses the shot to the body.
Maher throws a big shot that misses.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Noble.
Maher misses with a lunging right hand
and Noble counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Noble takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Maher fails to land with a series of punches.
Maher throws a lazy uppercut
and Noble counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Maher throws out a loose jab but Noble uses good head movement to avoid it.
Noble slips under a jab.
Noble's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Maher connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Noble scrambles back to his feet.
Maher throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Maher misses with a double jab.
Maher throws a poor cross that misses
and Noble counters with a series of strikes. Maher will be more careful next time no doubt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Maher throws a lazy uppercut
and Noble counters with a nice uppercut.
Maher misses with a low kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Noble takes one on the chin but seems OK.

It looks like Tim Noble has been cut.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Maher, as that shot connected.
Maher swings widly with a right hand
and Noble counters with a two punch combo.
Maher rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Noble counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Maher uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Noble blocks a head kick by Maher.
Noble throws a right and a left that both miss.
Noble's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Maher connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Noble scrambles back to his feet.
Maher misses the shot to the body.
Maher walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Maher is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Maher lands with an overhand left.

and Noble counters with a nice uppercut.
Sloppy strikes from Noble. Those never looked like landing.
Maher throws a hook to the side of Noble's head but Noble sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Noble misses with a few strikes there.
David Maher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maher throws a poor cross that misses
and Noble counters with a one-two to the body.
Noble slips a jab and a cross from Maher.
Noble is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Maher swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Noble counters with a three punch combo that has Maher backing up. Maher nods at Noble to acknowledge the strikes.

Maher is rocked!
Noble and Maher are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Noble throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Maher into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Noble knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
