Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chappa Chippa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Josh Moore!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chippa wants to clinch up but Moore keeps it at a distance.
Moore swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Chippa fails with an attempt to clinch.
A slow jab from Moore misses its intended target.
Moore throws a right and a left that both miss.
Moore circles away from the clinch attempt.
Moore shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Chippa tries to close the distance and clinch but Moore swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Moore is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chippa.

Chippa creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Moore's defenses.
Moore has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Chippa is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
