Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Albert Klump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goku Dragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klump comes to the cage accompanied by HEY HEY HEY. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Albert Klump!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Goku Dragon!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klump swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Dragon shoots for a takedown but Klump saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Klump misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Some wild striking there from Klump.
Nice takedown defense from Klump. No joy for Dragon on that attempt.
Klump throws a right and a left that Dragon avoids nicely.
The fighters circling - Klump throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dragon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Albert Klump has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Goku Dragon.

Dragon will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Klump wants to stand but Dragon has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Klump loads up on a big right hand but Dragon slips the punch.
Klump looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Klump rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dragon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Dragon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dragon showed some decent athleticism there.
Dragon working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Dragon slips a nice elbow through Klump's hands, connecting with Klump's forehead.
Klump avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dragon.
Dragon not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Klump tries to kick Dragon off but Dragon keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Dragon throws a strike but Klump avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dragon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dragon tries to free his leg and advance position but Klump is retaining full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Dragon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Klump throws a series of punches but Dragon avoids them all with ease.
Dragon showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Klump.
Klump works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Klump rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dragon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Klump throws a right and a left that Dragon avoids nicely.

Dragon closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Dragon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dragon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Klump pushes Dragon away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Dragon gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Dragon thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Dragon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Klump circles away.

Dragon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Klump swivels and escapes.
Albert Klump has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Goku Dragon.
No joy there for Klump, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Klump scores with a one two! Dragon had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Klump throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Goku Dragon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Klump parries the strikes from Dragon easily there. Dragon is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Klump to escape.
Dragon is trying to move to mount but Klump reverses beautifully and ends up in Dragon's guard.
Klump has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Dragon has control of Klump's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Klump regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Dragon sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

BOOM! Dragon connects with a massive shot to the dome!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Klump wants to try and get back to his feet.
Dragon punching from mount but Klump doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Dragon thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Klump wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Dragon.
Dragon lands a big elbow.

Dragon is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Klump has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Klump!

That was a close second round but I would say that Albert Klump will probably get the nod.

Klump's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Dragon unloads with some shots from mount but Klump bucks and avoids them well.

Dragon goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Klump is on top in guard.
Dragon wants to sweep here but Klump controlling him for the moment.

Dragon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Klump can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Klump has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dragon is proving hard to escape from.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Klump goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Dragon shoots in but Klump avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Klump throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Dragon fails with the takedown.
Klump stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Horrible takedown by Dragon or perhaps it was just good defense by Klump which made him look bad.
Klump lands with an overhand left.
Klump misses with a jab, cross combination.

Dragon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
