The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Legard fails with a takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Echberg or perhaps it was just good defense by Legard which made him look bad.
Legard is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Echberg shoots in for a double leg but Legard sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Legard with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Legard closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Legard decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Sebastien Legard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Echberg counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Echberg.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Echberg trying to control the position from guard on top but Legard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Legard has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Echberg should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Legard has tightened it up now! Echberg should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
