Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Almu Tantor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Apollo Takamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takamura tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Tantor ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Tantor ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Takamura moves away.
Takamura wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Tantor fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Takamura manages to avoid it.
Tantor throws a leg kick which misses Takamura's front leg but catches the back leg as Takamura tries to avoid it.
Tantor throws a right and a left that Takamura avoids nicely.
Takamura takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Takamura's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tantor connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Takamura scrambles back to his feet.

Takamura moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Tantor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Takamura scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tantor doesn't seem bothered though.
Takamura uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tantor.
Takamura rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tantor moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Takamura takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Takamura throws a sloppy head kick and Tantor moves out of range easily.
Tantor throws an overhand right that lands on Takamura's shoulder, as Takamura tries to avoid the shot.
Tantor scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Takamura is rocked!
Almu Tantor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Takamura takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Takamura is still on wobbly legs! Can Tantor finish him?
Takamura looks winded!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Tantor moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Takamura! Tantor continues to tee off on Takamura, landing with a left and a right! Tantor connects with a right hand that leaves Takamura sleeping against the ropes! What a finish by Tantor!
