The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuinness lands with a shot to the body.
Lewis dodges the punch combination from McGuinness.
McGuinness throws a looping overhand right but Lewis ducks down to avoid it.
A telegraphed right hand from Lewis misses the target.
Lewis misses with a hook.
McGuinness tries to clinch up.
McGuinness throws a hook but Lewis avoids it easily.
McGuinness throws a jab but it's blocked by Lewis.
Lewis throws out a loose jab but McGuinness uses good head movement to avoid it.
McGuinness throws a lazy uppercut
and Lewis counters with a two punch combo.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from McGuinness.
McGuinness checks a leg kick nicely.

McGuinness clinches with his opponent.
McGuinness taking a breather.
McGuinness tries for a takedown but Lewis manages to get underhooks.
Lewis should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lewis throws a punch but it's blocked by McGuinness.

McGuinness trying to land knees to the body.
McGuinness lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Montee Lewis has been cut.
McGuinness keeps control of Lewis as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
McGuinness stalls.
Lewis takes an elbow to the forehead.
Lewis tries to circle away but McGuinness has him pinned against the cage.
McGuinness creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Lewis's defenses.
The referee is keeping an eye on McGuinness - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
McGuinness lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

That has opened up Montee Lewis's cut even more.
Lewis misses with a punch on the inside.
Lewis tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and McGuinness avoids it.
A frustrated look appears on Lewis's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Lewis is trying to break the clinch but McGuinness has him pressed against the cage.

Lewis swings away with an uppercut that misses.
McGuinness lands a damaging elbow.

The cut above Montee Lewis's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
McGuinness keeps control of Lewis as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McGuinness blocks an uppercut.
Lewis wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Lewis is trying to break the clinch but McGuinness has him pressed against the cage.
McGuinness lands an elbow inside that Lewis shrugs off.

Montee Lewis's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Montee Lewis's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
