Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Igor Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch but Johnson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Johnson throws a nice inside leg kick.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Gracie postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Johnson looks a forlorn figure.

Gracie wants to finish this one by submission but Johnson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Gracie .

and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Gracie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Johnson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gracie .

Gracie doesn't manage to clinch there - Johnson circles away.
Gracie misses with a takedown attempt - Johnson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Johnson. Gracie shrugs it off though.

Gracie closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Johnson to the mat! Johnson manages to get full guard.

Gracie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Johnson is looking to escape.

Gracie has hold of Johnson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Johnson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
