Cunhha comes to the cage accompanied by Raimundus - Eu quero ver o oco. Gailitis comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Niggas in Paris kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cunhha fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gailitis, pushing him back against the cage.

Cunhha turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Cunhha is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gailitis has escaped the position, nice work there.
Cunhha wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gailitis, who protects the arm well.
Cunhha is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gailitis knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Gailitis can't do much from the bottom here.

Cunhha postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Gailitis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cunhha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cunhha tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cunhha has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
