The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sloan throws a series of punches but Repooc moves out of range.

Sloan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Repooc closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sloan to the mat! Sloan manages to get full guard.
Sloan wants to stand but Repooc is controlling the position.
Sloan is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Repooc postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sloan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Repooc, into his guard.

Sloan wants to stand but Repooc is controlling his posture from full guard.

Sloan gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Sloan lands a left and a right that send Repooc crashing to the mat, dazed. Sloan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

and Repooc counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Repooc tries to pass to full mount but Sloan defends it.
Repooc seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Repooc seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sloan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Sloan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Repooc circles away quickly and effectively.
