PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Shears (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and All Inn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shears's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 14 - 2, fighting out of New York, Billy Shears!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, All Inn!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inn misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Shears.
Inn looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Inn throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Shears misses the jab.
Shears throws a right hand that Inn ducks under and follows up with a left that Inn also avoids with ease.
Shears shoots in for a takedown but Inn shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Shears throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Shears looks to land a combination but Inn avoids it well.

Shears has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Inn has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
I really don't envy Inn right now.

That was a close second round but I would say that Billy Shears will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Inn with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Shears to score with a decent uppercut.
