The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heinze tries to close the distance and clinch but Swipe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

It looks like Andreas Heinze has been cut.
Swipe turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Swipe has taken the fight to the clinch.
Swipe lands a nice elbow.
Swipe lands an elbow inside that Heinze shrugs off.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Heinze turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Heinze manages to end up in side control.
