Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Ronbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ronbo looks to land a combination but Sanchez avoids it well.
Sanchez keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Sanchez moves to clinch but Ronbo breaks away
and Ronbo counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Diego Sanchez has been cut.
Sanchez avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ronbo looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Sanchez tries to clinch there but Ronbo circles away.

Sanchez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ronbo sprawls well. Ronbo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sanchez gets slowly back to his feet.
Ronbo throws a leg kick that misses.
Sanchez walks into a left hand.
Sanchez throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Ronbo slips a jab and a cross from Sanchez.

Ronbo drives through and clinches with Sanchez against the cage.

Sanchez tries for a takedown but Ronbo circles away easily

and Ronbo counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Ronbo.
Ronbo throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Ronbo tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Sanchez avoids it.
Ronbo lands a damaging elbow.

Ronbo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sanchez thows a left - swing and a miss!
Ronbo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sanchez throws a leg kick that is checked
and Ronbo counters with a three punch combo that has Sanchez backing up. Sanchez nods at Ronbo to acknowledge the strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sanchez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ronbo avoids it really well and circles away.
Ronnie Ronbo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diego Sanchez.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sanchez.
Sanchez shoots in looking for a takedown. Ronbo tries to sprawl out of it but Sanchez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ronbo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ronbo cracks Sanchez with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Sanchez tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Ronbo pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Sanchez is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
