Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stanton Friedmon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Dylan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Friedmon's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Come Get on the Ho Train. Daniel Dylan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stanton Friedmon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Daniel Dylan!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dylan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Friedmon tries to clinch up.
Friedmon fails with a takedown attempt.
Friedmon gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Dylan.
Friedmon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dylan defends it nicely.
Dylan lands a nice hook to Friedmon's body. Friedmon takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Friedmon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dylan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Friedmon takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Friedmon moves forwards but Dylan connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Friedmon on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Dylan will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Friedmon looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stanton Friedmon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Friedmon scores with a takedown into Dylan's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Dylan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Friedmon is one step ahead there.
Friedmon wants to pass the guard but Dylan is keeping the position.

Dylan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Friedmon with a nice head shot there.
Dylan keeping moving, preventing Friedmon from controlling successfully.

Dylan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Friedmon.

Dylan is pulling down on Friedmon's head to control his posture.
Friedmon trying to control the position from guard on top but Dylan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Stanton Friedmon.
Dylan lands a nice looking body shot.
Friedmon scores with a jab. Dylan acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Dylan misses with an uppercut.

Friedmon misses with a hook. Dylan ducked under it nicely.
Dylan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Friedmon.
Friedmon checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Dylan wants to slow Friedmon down by chopping away at his legs.
Dylan feints and then cracks Friedmon's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Friedmon down.
Friedmon throws a big shot that misses.

Dylan scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Friedmon does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Dylan misses with a double jab.
A clash of legs there as Friedmon blocks the low kick.
Dylan lands a glancing blow to the side of Friedmon's head.


Friedmon is rocked!
Dylan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Friedmon's calf.
Oh Friedmon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dylan scoring well with a low kick there.
Friedmon tries to clinch but Dylan is having none of it.
That kick from Dylan tenderised Friedmon's leg. Friedmon is trying to keep his angry face on.
Friedmon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Friedmon seems to have got his legs back now.
Friedmon is breathing heavily.
Dylan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Friedmon circles away quickly and effectively.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dylan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Dylan lands a leg kick that knocks Friedmon off balance momentarily.
Friedmon takes a jab right on the kisser.
Friedmon gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Dylan gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel Dylan!
Daniel Dylan was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
