Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Meldrick Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Tomatoes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Tomatoes!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor looks to land a combination. Tomatoes sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Tomatoes is trying hard to land a takedown here. Taylor sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Taylor lands a nice shot to the body.
Tomatoes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Taylor sprawls well. Taylor wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tomatoes gets slowly back to his feet.
Taylor swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Taylor goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Johnny Tomatoes has been cut.
Taylor throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Tomatoes stumbling backwards into the cage! Tomatoes bounces back off the cage towards Taylor, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Taylor lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Taylor celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Meldrick Taylor!
Meldrick Taylor really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Blood Bank ($10) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
