Linderoth closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Challa can do anything to dispel that myth.
Linderoth is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Challa is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Linderoth tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Linderoth has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Challa regains half guard, as Linderoth was trying to land strikes.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

T Challa dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Challa throws the left hand but Linderoth avoids the punch easily.
Linderoth throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Horrible takedown by Linderoth or perhaps it was just good defense by Challa which made him look bad.
Linderoth is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Challa throws a big shot that misses.
Challa throws a jab but it's blocked by Linderoth.
Challa cracks Linderoth on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Linderoth falls backwards against the cage. Challa follows up with more strikes that drop Linderoth to his knees. Challa keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Linderoth! This one is all over!
