Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Buume (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Farmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trey Farmer is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Buume!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Trey Farmer!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farmer scores with a one two! Buume had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Farmer cracks Buume with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Trey Farmer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Buume throws a low kick, looking for Farmer's leg but Farmer calmly moves out of range.

Buume drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Buume tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Buume working the ground and pound from side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Buume looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Farmer struggling a bit here.

Buume is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Farmer has escaped the position, nice work there.

Farmer gets back to half guard.

Buume is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Buume is trying to work for a kimura but Farmer is defending well.
Buume thows a huge punch but Farmer dodges it nicely.
Buume stops Farmer from getting back to his feet.

Buume is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Farmer sees it coming and defends easily.

Buume working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Buume trying to pass the guard but Farmer defending well.

Farmer looking for submissions off his back.

Buume is looking for a kimura but Farmer is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Buume to get the leverage.

Buume is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Farmer gets full guard.

Buume drops back, looking for a kneebar! Farmer looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Farmer looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Farmer!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Farmer decides to stand up, so the ref orders Buume to his feet.

Farmer shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Buume is trying to defend but Farmer finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Farmer is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Buume looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Buume wants to get back to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Farmer seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Buume is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Farmer pulls his head out easily.

Farmer is keen to just control but Buume is a slippery customer.

Farmer is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Buume wants to get back to full guard but Farmer has passed into side control.

Buume manages to work his way to half guard, despite Farmer's best efforts.
Farmer is controlling the pace.

Buume looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Buume tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Farmer seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Farmer wants to control but Buume is keeping him busy.
Farmer works his foot free and advances to mount.
Buume regains half guard.

Farmer stands up out of the half guard.

Farmer throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Buume was covering up waiting for the punch and Farmer finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Buume wants to sweep but no luck.

Buume throws his legs up looking for a submission but Farmer uses it to pass to side control.
Trey Farmer has got the better of the ground game so far.

Farmer stands up and beckons Buume to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Buume shoots for a takedown but Farmer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Trey Farmer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Buume's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Farmer lands a big head kick that sends Buume tumbling to the mat! Farmer takes a step backwards and waves Buume back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Buume is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Some bone on bone action there as Farmer checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Oh Buume is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Buume doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Farmer fails with an attempt to clinch.
Buume seems to have got his legs back now.
Farmer throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Farmer shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Farmer was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
A nice elbow there by Farmer.

Farmer gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Farmer closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Buume did well to prevent Farmer getting side control.
Farmer is looking to advance position but Buume won't allow it.

Farmer trying to control the action but Buume is working from the bottom.
Farmer might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Buume kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Buume is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Farmer pulls his head out easily.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Farmer closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Buume is looking for a sweep.

David Buume has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Trey Farmer is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Buume is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Trey Farmer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Farmer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
