Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kid Buu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Palowakski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palowakski has chosen Burning Down the House as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kid Buu could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Fred Palowakski's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buu stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Buu wants it to stay on the feet.

Palowakski is rocked!

Buu rushes Palowakski and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Palowakski is still on wobbly legs! Can Buu finish him?
A nice right hand lands inside from Buu.
Palowakski stalling in the clinch but Buu improves position.

Buu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Buu moves into the clinch.
Buu tries a knee to the head but Palowakski blocks it.
Buu's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Palowakski is trying to trip Buu. He has hold of a leg but Buu is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Palowakski persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Palowakski is pushing down on Buu's leg trying to pass to half guard. Buu is fighting to maintain full guard but Palowakski has managed to sneak the leg through.
Buu keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Palowakski wants to control but Buu is keeping him busy.

Buu has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Palowakski is working away from the top position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Buu darts in and clinches Palowakski up against the cage.

Buu throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Palowakski blocks it with crossed arms.
Buu jumps guard but Palowakski stands there with Buu around his waist. Buu gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Buu crunches a lovely knee into Palowakski's ribcage.

Buu has Palowakski pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Palowakski is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Buu - that's hurt Palowakski badly! Oh, another knee lands and Palowakski is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Palowakski doesn't seem to be complaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Kid Buu!
