Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gevorg Petrosyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belfort has chosen Bate Pesadão as his entrance music. Belfort has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Petrosyan checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Belfort looks gassed!
Belfort swings for the body but Petrosyan moves out of range.
Petrosyan misses with a wild combination.
Belfort stuffs the takedown.
Petrosyan loads up on a big right hand but Belfort slips the punch.
Petrosyan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Petrosyan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Petrosyan with a nice cross.
Horrible takedown by Petrosyan or perhaps it was just good defense by Belfort which made him look bad.

Petrosyan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Petrosyan is trying to force a seperation but Belfort has the dominant position.

Petrosyan breaks the clinch.
Belfort ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Petrosyan moves away.
Petrosyan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Belfort's head backwards.

It looks like Vitor Belfort has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Belfort gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Petrosyan.
Belfort looks up at the clock. Bad move! Petrosyan lands a right hand from hell, dropping Belfort. Petrosyan pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gevorg Petrosyan!
