PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nalle Karhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goro Utini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karhu comes to the cage accompanied by Sara - Yhtenä iltana. Goro Utini told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Utini throws out a loose jab but Karhu uses good head movement to avoid it.

Utini is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Utini looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Karhu has picked Utini up and slammed him! Utini can't keep hold of the triangle and Karhu manages to pass to side control!

Karhu cracks Utini with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Karhu has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Utini's face.

A big strike lands for Karhu! That's really hurt Utini and he's turned his back - Karhu keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Karhu jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Nalle Karhu decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
