Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Davi Destruction (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Copello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Davi Destruction!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Felipe Copello!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Copello does no damage.
Destruction shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Copello pinned against the cage. Copello gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A nice combination there by Copello.


It looks like Davi Destruction has been cut.
Destruction tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Copello paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Destruction tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Copello counters with a straight right hand.
Davi Destruction seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Copello misses with a jab, cross combination.

Copello drops Destruction with a left right combo! Copello follows him down to the ground into side control.


Destruction is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Copello trying to control the action but Destruction is working from the bottom.
Oh Destruction is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Copello taking a break here but Destruction is having none of it and regains half guard.
Destruction seems to have got his legs back now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Destruction controlling the position well.
Destruction pushes Copello off looking to stand but Copello dives back in and keeps control.
Destruction gets back to full guard.
Destruction throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Copello wants to control from the top but Destruction keeps moving.
Copello might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Destruction kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Destruction pulls Copello in to control the position.
Copello really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Destruction. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Copello trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Copello in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Destruction keeping moving, preventing Copello from controlling successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Felipe Copello.
Sloppy strikes from Destruction. Those never looked like landing.
Copello misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Destruction is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Destruction shoots in looking for a takedown but Copello manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Destruction's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
No joy there for Copello, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Some wild striking there from Copello.
Copello stuffs the takedown attempt from Destruction. Destruction gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Davi Destruction. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Destruction shoots in for a takedown but Copello shows good takedown defense.
Destruction is breathing heavily.
Copello lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Destruction tries to clinch up
and Copello counters with a straight right hand.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Copello lands with a right that hurts Destruction. Destruction looks to clinch but Copello throws a short knee that drops Destruction. This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Felipe Copello!
