Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lesner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Natural (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesner's entrance music is down with the sickness. A fine choice. Natural has chosen Tupac- Me Against The World as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brock Lesner!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Randy Natural!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lesner closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Natural to the mat! Natural manages to get full guard.
Natural is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lesner is controlling him.
Lesner trying to control the position from guard on top but Natural is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lesner looking to sit in guard and control but Natural gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Lesner is working an open guard so Natural takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Lesner tries to move into range but Natural moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Natural looks to land a combination but Lesner avoids it well.

Lesner scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lesner is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Natural!

Lesner throwing strikes here but Natural is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Poor strikes thrown by Lesner there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Lesner goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Natural turns into him and now he's in Lesner's guard.

Lesner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Natural wants to get up but he can't break Lesner's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Lesner is working an open guard so Natural takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Natural throws a head kick that misses.

and Natural counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Randy Natural is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Natural tries to bum rush Lesner with a series of wild strikes but Lesner uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lesner shoots in but Natural avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Natural blocks a head kick by Lesner.
Lesner looks for the body kick but Natural saw that one coming.
Natural displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.


It looks like Brock Lesner has been cut.
Natural tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Lesner avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Natural fails in his attempt to clinch.
Natural misses with a straight right.
Lesner fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lesner wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Natural, who protects the arm well.
Lesner content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Brock Lesner will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Natural closes the distance and pushes Lesner back into the cage.
Lesner goes for a takedown attempt but Natural pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Natural blocks a head kick by Lesner.

Natural gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Natural tries to land knees in the clinch but Lesner avoids the damage to the body.
Natural stops a takedown attempt from Lesner.
Natural lands a right hand that snaps the head of Lesner backwards.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brock Lesner. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lesner has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Natural after a bit of a struggle.
Natural tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Natural gets underhooks to prevent Lesner's takedown attempt.

Lesner scores with a one two! Natural had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Natural fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Natural tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lesner manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Natural scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Lesner is trying hard to land a takedown here. Natural sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Natural is pressed up against the cage. Lesner has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Natural down to the mat. Natural avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Lesner takes an elbow to the temple.
Lesner has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Natural avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Natural throws a sloppy head kick and Lesner moves out of range easily.
Natural throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lesner.
Natural stalks Lesner and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lesner's face. Lesner staggers backwards, shaken.

Lesner throws a head kick that misses.
Lesner walks into a left hand.

Natural instigates a clinch.
Lesner blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
A nice left hand lands by Natural.
Lesner tries for a takedown. No joy.
Still in the clinch, Natural scores with a nice short uppercut.
Lesner wants a takedown but no success here.
Natural is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Natural lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Lesner or not.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Randy Natural showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Natural rushes Lesner and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Natural lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Lesner has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Natural is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Natural pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Brock Lesner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Natural misses with a body shot.
Natural throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lesner.
Natural has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Lesner gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Lesner tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Natural is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Lesner buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Lesner!! Lesner is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Natural throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Randy Natural!
Randy Natural is the new heavyweight champion!
A relieved looking Randy Natural thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
