PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Glenn Galloway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuchiki Byakuya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Galloway might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Overcome by Creed. Byakuya has chosen Let's Go as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byakuya tries to clinch up but Galloway circles away and keeps his distance.
Byakuya shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Galloway as he avoids it easily.

Galloway is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Byakuya gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Galloway wants to sweep but no luck.
Byakuya wants to control from the top but Galloway keeps moving.

Galloway had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Byakuya is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Galloway Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Byakuya's back instead.

Byakuya is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Galloway looking to break Byakuya's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Byakuya remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Galloway will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Byakuya is pushing down on Galloway's leg trying to pass to half guard. Galloway is fighting to maintain full guard but Byakuya has managed to sneak the leg through.
