Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fedor Emelianenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alex Bourne!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko throws a sloppy head kick and Bourne moves out of range easily.
Emelianenko lands with a slapping head kick.
Emelianenko throws a head kick that misses.
Emelianenko throws a head kick but Bourne moves out of range.
Emelianenko misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Emelianenko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bourne shoots for a double leg takedown but Emelianenko sprawls well. He's pushed Bourne's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Emelianenko misses with a double jab.
Bourne on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Emelianenko misses with a two punch combination.
Bourne avoids the head kick by Emelianenko.
Emelianenko closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Emelianenko throws a head kick but Bourne moves out of range.
Bourne shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Emelianenko pinned against the cage. Emelianenko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Emelianenko throws a sloppy head kick and Bourne moves out of range easily.

Emelianenko closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Emelianenko fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bourne pushes Emelianenko up against the cage in a clinch.
Bourne has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Emelianenko uses from the top position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Emelianenko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bourne swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bourne is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bourne seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Alex Bourne.
Emelianenko misses with a head kick.
Emelianenko lands a high kick!
Emelianenko scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Emelianenko pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bourne shoots in and gets a takedown into Emelianenko's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bourne missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Bourne controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Emelianenko wants to stand but Bourne is controlling the position.
Bourne passes Emelianenko's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Emelianenko is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Emelianenko has a hand on Bourne's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Bourne takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Emelianenko can't escape the position.
Bourne postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Emelianenko looks a forlorn figure.
Bourne controlling the position easily from mount.
Emelianenko is trying to reverse the position but instead Bourne has taken his back - oops!
Bourne sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Emelianenko taps out!
