Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Julius Ceasar!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Fury!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fury misses with a wild body shot.
Ceasar avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Ceasar walks forward, straight into a front kick from Fury.
Fury lands a glancing blow to the side of Ceasar's head.
Ceasar pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Fury back to the cage. Ceasar follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Ceasar tries a head kick but it misses.
No joy there for Fury, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fury scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Ceasar misses with a low kick.
Ceasar tries to land a front kick but Fury steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Ceasar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fury goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Fury crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ceasar - the referee stops the clock and Fury gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ceasar. Fury manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fury's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ceasar connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fury scrambles back to his feet.
Ceasar throws a sloppy head kick and Fury moves out of range easily.
Fury misses with a low kick.
Fury with a jab.
Fury misses with a kick to the body.
Fury steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ceasar. That one must have hurt.
A head kick by Ceasar misses
and Fury counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ceasar tries to land a leg kick but Fury saw it coming and moves away.
Fury throws a half hearted mid kick.
Ceasar misses with a hook. Fury ducked under it nicely.
Ceasar tries a head kick but it misses.
Fury tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Ceasar misses with an attempted mid kick.
Fury misses with a double jab.
Julius Ceasar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fury takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Ceasar is looking to land body kicks.
Ceasar misses with a body kick.
Fury uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ceasar.
Fury throws a lazy right hand but Ceasar sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Fury throws a leg kick which misses Ceasar's front leg but catches the back leg as Ceasar tries to avoid it.
Julius Ceasar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ceasar ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Ceasar misses with a head kick.
Ceasar chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Fury takes a body punch but keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fury ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fury feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ceasar's calf.
Ceasar tries to land a leg kick but Fury saw it coming and moves away.
Fury thumps Ceasar with a low kick.

That kick from Fury tenderised Ceasar's leg. Ceasar is trying to keep his angry face on.
Ceasar looks to land a body kick but Fury moved away.
Fury thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Ceasar if he has to take too many more of those.
Ceasar is breathing heavily.
Fury jabs Ceasar right on the nose. Ceasar blinks but takes it well.
Fury lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.


Ceasar is rocked!
Ceasar glances at the clock... BAM! Fury nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Ceasar crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Ceasar is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nick Fury! Nick Fury retains his middleweight title!
Nick Fury seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
