The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ego has a takedown stuffed.
Simba bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ego's head.
Good standup being displayed there by Simba as he connects with a hook.
Ego on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Simba lands with a cross.
Simba ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Ego shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Simba sprawls well. Simba wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ego gets slowly back to his feet.
Ego takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Flo Simba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A combination from Ego does no damage.
Ego throws a sloppy head kick and Simba moves out of range easily.
Simba cracks Ego with a right hand to the side of the head.
Simba is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Ego misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Simba scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ego. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Simba lands with a nice body punch.
Simba jabs Ego right on the nose. Ego blinks but takes it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Simba sends Ego crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Simba is motioning to the referee to let Ego up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Ego is rocked!
Simba weaves into range and cracks Ego right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Ego goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Simba is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
