Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Super Slayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Leite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luis Leite has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Super Slayer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luis Leite!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leite shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Slayer but Slayer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Leite displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Slayer throws out the jab.
Slayer just misses with a punch to the body.
Leite walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
The fight stays on the outside here - Leite looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Slayer throws a hook but Leite avoids it easily.
Slayer misses with a straight left.
Slayer misses with a body shot.

Leite drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Leite loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Slayer is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Leite is controlling him.
Leite in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Leite wants to control from the top but Slayer keeps moving.
Leite is working Slayer over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Leite drops back looking for a leg! Slayer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Slayer manages to kick Leite off! Leite jumps back into Slayer's guard.
Slayer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Slayer is trying to keep Leite in close.
Leite in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Slayer wants to sweep here but Leite controlling him for the moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leite stands up over Slayer, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Slayer is controlling Leite's posture.
Slayer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Leite on the ground.
Slayer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Leite is one step ahead there.
Slayer has his hands on Leite's head, controlling the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Super Slayer wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Slayer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Slayer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Leite shoots for a takedown but Slayer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Leite dives in and grabs Slayer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Slayer pushes down on Leite's head and hops out.
Super Slayer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luis Leite.
Leite avoids a punch combination nicely.

Leite feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Slayer is pulling down on Leite's head to control his posture.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Slayer wants to stand but Leite is controlling the position.

Slayer trying to control the position from guard on top but Leite is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Slayer won't allow Leite to get back to his feet.
Slayer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Leite wriggles free and stands up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Slayer misses with a double jab

and Leite counters with a takedown into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Luis Leite dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Slayer throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Slayer lands with a good body shot.
Slayer misses with a straight left.
Slayer connects with a good right hand that stumbles Leite. Leite circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Super Slayer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Leite closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Leite lands in his opponent's guard.
Leite won't allow Slayer to sweep him here.

Leite wants to pass the guard but Slayer is keeping the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Super Slayer.
Slayer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Leite moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Slayer paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.


It looks like Luis Leite has been cut.
Slayer connects with a right hand. Leite shakes it off.


Leite is rocked!
and Slayer counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Leite! He's just covering up as Slayer starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Super Slayer!
