PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Pruvhe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marion Polk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pruvhe has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Polk.
Polk misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Polk lands with a right hand.

Pruvhe drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Pruvhe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Polk's waist but Polk gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pruvhe off to one side.

Polk lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Stefan Pruvhe has been cut.
Polk takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Pruvhe shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Pruvhe was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Pruvhe postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Polk in real trouble here! The ref calls for Polk to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
