The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reed scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Arcinas is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Reed pulls his head out easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Arcinas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Reed doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Reed manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Reed decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Reed moves in looking to clinch but Arcinas pushes him off.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Arcinas dodges the punch combination from Reed.
Antonio Arcinas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Arcinas connects with a high kick.

Arcinas throws a series of strikes that have Reed backpedaling.
Reed pulls out of a head kick attempt.

A nice leg kick lands there from Arcinas.

Reed looks to land a left hand but Arcinas moved out of range nicely.
Crunch! Arcinas slams his shin into Reed's torso.
Reed throws a wild body kick that Arcinas sees coming a mile off.
Arcinas goes for a high kick. It partially lands.


It looks like Arizona Reed has been cut.
Reed fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Arcinas manages to avoid it.
Arcinas throws a quick inside leg kick.

Arcinas lands a big head kick that sends Reed tumbling to the mat! Arcinas takes a step backwards and waves Reed back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Reed is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Arcinas lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Reed crumples to the floor! Arcinas milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Antonio Arcinas!
