Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doc Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Thomas comes to the cage accompanied by Muse - Knights of Cydonia. Doc Thomas has chosen Lunatic Fringe by Red Ryder as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Doc Thomas told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Columbo Gatti and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doc Thomas rushes Ryan Thomas and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The is referee keeping an eye on Doc Thomas - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Ryan Thomas changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Doc Thomas fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Doc Thomas tries to bum rush Ryan Thomas with a series of wild strikes but Ryan Thomas uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Doc Thomas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Doc Thomas throws the left hand but Ryan Thomas avoids the punch easily.
Doc Thomas connects with a single shot there.
Ryan Thomas is rocked!
Ryan Thomas closes this distance looking for a takedown but Doc Thomas circles away.
Oh Ryan Thomas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ryan Thomas shoots in and bounces Doc Thomas off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ryan Thomas seems to have got his legs back now.
Doc Thomas lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.

Doc Thomas wants to sweep but no luck.
Doc Thomas thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Doc Thomas tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Doc Thomas manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ryan Thomas manages to get himself to full guard.
Doc Thomas trying to control but Ryan Thomas is working from the bottom.
Doc Thomas throws and elbow that misses. Ryan Thomas uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Doc Thomas's guard. Nice move by Ryan Thomas!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Ryan Thomas drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ryan Thomas jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Ryan Thomas passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
Doc Thomas regains full guard. Nicely done.
Doc Thomas is looking to sweep but instead, Ryan Thomas has passed into half guard.
Ryan Thomas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ryan Thomas seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Doc Thomas is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
