Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bam Boom 6 (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Ling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ling has chosen Hollow Man as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bam Boom 6!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jeff Ling!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom 6 closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ling counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Boom 6 tries to clinch but Ling moves away
and Ling counters with an outside leg kick.
Ling getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Ling looks to land a body kick but Boom 6 moved away.
Boom 6 wants to clinch up but Ling keeps it at a distance.
Ling chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Boom 6 takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters circle momentarily. Ling darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Ling scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.


It looks like Bam Boom 6 has been cut.

and Ling counters with a stiff right hand.
Ling ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ling throws a body punch but Boom 6 moves out of range.
Ling thows a leg kick but Boom 6 checks it
and Boom 6 makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Ling throws a right and a left that Boom 6 avoids nicely.
Ling rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Boom 6 moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Boom 6 tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Ling counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Jeff Ling is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ling swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ling is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Boom 6 rather than just go for the knockout.

A slow jab from Ling misses its intended target.
Boom 6 tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ling sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Boom 6 somewhat.

Ling scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Ling throws a chopping leg kick but Boom 6 manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Ling digs a good body shot into Boom 6's ribs.

Ling lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Ling connects with a body shot that sends Boom 6's belly button to the back.
Ling lands a nice hook to Boom 6's body. Boom 6 takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Ling throws a nice outside leg kick.
Ling cracks the inside of Boom 6's front leg.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A punch lands to the side of Boom 6 's head but he takes it in his stride.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Ling scores with a hook to the body. Boom 6 takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Boom 6 is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Ling throws a series of punches but Boom 6 moves out of range.
Boom 6 chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ling can pounce on him.
Ling takes a swing at Boom 6's ribcage but misses.
Ling has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Boom 6 avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ling fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Ling counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Boom 6 looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Boom 6 misses with an uppercut. Ling saw that one coming.

Ling thows a body shot but no joy.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Some bone on bone action there as Boom 6 checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Ling dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ling.
Ling wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ling throws a leg kick but Boom 6 sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Ling cracks a nice hook into Boom 6's ribs.
Boom 6 takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ling paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Jeff Ling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boom 6 walks into a straight right hand from Ling.

Boom 6 on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ling. Ling obviously looking to wear him down.

Ling drops Boom 6 with a big left hand and mounts him. Boom 6 is in big trouble!

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Ling is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Boom 6 to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Boom 6 shrugs it off.

Ling postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Boom 6 looks a forlorn figure.

Boom 6 tries to lock up and control but Ling gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

enabling Ling to counter with a crisp jab.

Boom 6 takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

A head kick by Ling misses
and Boom 6 counters with a head kick. That will keep Ling thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Boom 6 keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Boom 6 seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Ling shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Boom 6 is backing up but Ling catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Boom 6 covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Ling Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeff Ling!
During a confident post fight interview, Jeff Ling thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
