Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ronaldi Rolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ferdinando Ferrari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ronaldi Rolf had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferrari drives through with a takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Rolf had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ferrari defends it easily.
Rolf wants to sweep here but Ferrari controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ferrari connects with a nice short shot to Rolf's temple.

Ferrari working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

and Ferrari counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Ronaldi Rolf is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Rolf will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ferrari lands with a hook. Rolf tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Poor strikes thrown by Ferrari there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Ferrari throws a head kick but Rolf moves out of range.
Rolf tries a head kick but it misses.
Rolf misses with a two punch combination.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rolf crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ferrari - the referee stops the clock and Rolf gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ferrari. Rolf manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Rolf changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ferrari tries to avoid it but Rolf manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ferrari to the ground. Ferrari escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Rolf is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A slapping leg kick lands for Ferrari.
Rolf thuds his right hand into Ferrari's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Rolf walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Ferrari looks to land a left hand but Rolf moved out of range nicely.

Rolf throws a hook to the side of Ferrari's head but Ferrari sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ferrari shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rolf as he jumps to the side.

Ferrari lands with an uppercut that bounces Rolf off the cage and back into range.

A head punch on the inside from Ferrari fails to land.
A nice right hand lands inside from Ferrari.

Rolf is trying to drag Ferrari to the mat but Ferrari just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ferrari lets loose with a powerful body kick. Rolf will feel that in the morning.
Rolf tries for a takedown but Ferrari sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronaldi Rolf. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rolf fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ferrari manages to avoid it.

Rolf gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Ferrari does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Ferrari gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Ferrari drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Ferdinando Ferrari is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Rolf wants to control but Ferrari postures up.

Ferrari content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Rolf is staying active underneath Ferrari, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

I would just about give that final round to Ferdinando Ferrari.
