Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Darius Paganopoulos!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Holiday changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Paganopoulos looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Paganopoulos looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Holiday is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Paganopoulos is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Holiday is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Paganopoulos knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Holiday shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Paganopoulos's guard.

Tanner Holiday decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
