The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crusher closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Krol to the mat! Krol manages to get full guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Crusher postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Crusher throws a strike but Krol rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Crusher wants to stand up but Krol is controlling him.

Krol fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Crusher avoids it really well and circles away.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mateusz Krol.
