Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Millan Fuentes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyra Heartstrings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Heartstrings clinches up with Fuentes and pushes him back against the cage.

Heartstrings escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Heartstrings lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fuentes circles away quickly and effectively.
Heartstrings showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Fuentes.
Fuentes connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Heartstrings fails with the takedown.

Heartstrings gets a double leg takedown into Fuentes's guard.

Fuentes is working an open guard so Heartstrings takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Fuentes throws a hook to the side of Heartstrings's head but Heartstrings sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Heartstrings wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fuentes keeps working.
Fuentes is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Heartstrings jumps into side control!

Fuentes gets tackled into the cage by Heartstrings. Heartstrings maintains the clinch.

Heartstrings has Fuentes pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Heartstrings pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Fuentes tumbling to the mat - Heartstrings dives into Fuentes's guard.
Fuentes is pulling down on Heartstrings's head to control his posture.

Heartstrings got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fuentes has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Heartstrings has managed to get both his arms back between Fuentes's legs - danger averted.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Heartstrings is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fuentes is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Fuentes is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Heartstrings off and has taken his back!
Heartstrings rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Fuentes looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Heartstrings is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fuentes pulls his head out easily.

Heartstrings is not content to let Fuentes control the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Heartstrings takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Fuentes tries to pull guard but Heartstrings holds him up against the cage and eventually Fuentes drops back down to his feet.

Heartstrings has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Fuentes is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Well Heartstrings has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
